Oh boy - do I have great news for y'all,
There's another fantastic Thursday evening of Don't Bring Your Phucking Phone Phest right around the corner! Join us for a fantastic time travel adventure as we set off in our Hostel shaped time machine and travel from the less distant future to the slightly more distant future!
Here are the technical specifications:==============================Date: Thursday, January 15, 2026Time Traveling from: 5:00pm To: 8:00pm At a rate of nearly 60 minutes per hourLocation: The Black Elephant Hostel==============================Parking Advisory: DO NOT park in the parking lot behind the Hostel. You may get towed! On street parking is available and encouraged!
This is the part of the email where I leak more details about the three day Phest coming up at the end of the month!Â
It's going to be from 11 am to 8pm on January 29 (fri), 30 (sat), and 31 (sun), and while we are going to have some dedicated blocks of time for scheduled events (like the opening ceremony) we are also planning for a multitude of free blocks of time that can be filled with both structured and unstructured activities! These blocks are open season so if you have ideas for things you'd like to do, facilitate, teach, or otherwise share, you're most welcome to occupy some space and time!
Also there's probably something to do with food, possibly eating food. It's a pretty safe bet that food will come into play at some point.
A more official email about that event is still in the works but you will all hear from me later this week with more details and more rambling, but mostly more rambling!
