It's almost Thursday again and that means another rip roaring Don't Bring Your Phucking Phone Phest (winter edition) is coming up. Here are the details:==============================Date: Thursday, December 04, 2025Time: 5:00pm to 8:00pmLocation: The Black Elephant Hostel==============================For those of you who haven't been to the Black Elephant before: please come to the front door on Hampshire street and knock / make some noise so we can let you in! The Hostel is closed for the season and it may look closed. We rely on the valiant and benevolent efforts of both Abbeth and Scooter to provide us access to the space.Special thanks to everyone who didn't bring their phone to the Black Elephant for thanksgiving last week (technically, that's all of you!) It was simply wonderful.For those of you who haven't attended a Phest before, here are the basic guidelines:

- DON'T BRING YOUR PHUCKING PHONE or other internet connected devices. If you need a device for work or impending emergencies, please keep it hidden away, lest we all chant at you in unison.
- Bring what you do! Board games, musical instruments, journals, paints, fabrics, food, etcetera - if you do it, feel free to bring it!
- Come with an attitude of kindness and acceptance. We're trying to cultivate a space in which everyone feels comfortable showing up in a way that feels authentic to them, so please facilitate that by being your kindest and most accepting self!
- Feel free to show up any time after 5 and leave any time before 8! This isn't an event with a concrete itinerary so you can show up late or leave early! If you arrive early, though, you might have to wait outside for a bit.
